Piedmont Schools Receives $100,000 Grant

Piedmont Schools is pleased to announce the award of a $100,000 Shelter Oklahoma Schools  grant through the Oklahoma City Community Foundation .  These funds will go toward providing a FEMA approved shelter at the new Piedmont Early Childhood Center.  We are grateful for resources such as this to provide safer schools for our children.

Sports Update

Basketball Update –   The girls finished the season advancing to the semi-final round of the 5A state tournament.  Maddie Sperle was named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association Large West All State team, and Kish Chandler was named an Alternate.  This game will be played on June 3 at Westmoore High School.  Maddie was also named as an Oklahoma Coaches Association Large West All Region . . .

National Blue Ribbon

U.S. Secretary of Education, John B. Student Headed to U.S. Naval Academy

Zachary Swindell has been accepted into the United States Naval Academy.  "I've been planning on attending service academy since 6th grade and want to serve to fulfill my civic obligation," said Swindell.  Zach will be the first in his family to go to the Navy.
