I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS degree in Special Education.  I have had the pleasure to teach in all areas of special education for 22 years.  I was a part-time preschool teacher/stay-at-home mom for 4 years when my own children were young.  This is my 9th year in the Piedmont School District.  I had the wonderful opportunity to help develop the first developmental delayed program in our district.  Every day is an adventure in my classroom and I love every minute.

The paraprofessionals assisting this school year are Alexis Hunt and Connie Nance. Ms. Hunt graduated from Piedmont in 2015 and has worked Clubhouse at the Primary for four years. This is her first full time position here at the Primary, and she is currently in her Junior year at UCO. This will be Mrs. Nance's 1st year at the Primary, but her 5th in our school district.  They really help keep the classroom running smoothly and the students just love them.  We are very lucky to have these two wonderful ladies in the DD classroom.
