Hi! I am Mrs. Cindy Lacefield. I am so happy to teach Expressions (Physical Education, Music, & Art) this year! I have taught early childhood for 28 years and still loving it! I have a wonderful husband, 3 children and an amazing grand baby named Audrey. I love spending time with my family. In 2011, I attained National Board Certification. It was a wonderful, learning experience for me and has changed the way I teach.
I want to provide a quality educational program that inspires and fosters your child to create, discover and achieve. I will provide opportunities for your child to develop large and small motor skills through indoor and outdoor activites and games for the benefit of personal fitness and well being. Keep in mind, though, that the best educational programs do more than just teach children Pre-K standards. I strive to reach children's hearts as well as their minds. Self-esteem and effective relationships are important goals for Pre-K. I will work hard to make a real difference in your child's life this year. I want each child to feel a part of our classroom; to make friends and play cooperatively with others. I will help encourage them to respond compassionately to others and also continue to learn to treat other with respect and gentleness, to be generous, and to offer forgiveness when needed. Success depends on establishing an effective partnership between home and school. I feel honored to be a part of your child's life. I am also aware of the great responsibility we have as partners in teaching and nurturing your child.
