Special Services

Our department provides guidance and support to schools, teachers, and families to ensure that students with disabilities receive specially designed instruction or related services, at no cost to the parent, to meet the unique needs of each student. We support the right of every child and his or her family, regardless of ability, to participate as full members of families, communities, and society. We believe that inclusive experiences for children with and without disabilities include a sense of belonging, positive social relationships, and opportunities for development and learning that enable them to reach their full potential.

The Special Services department is committed to supporting Piedmont students and families. Should you have any questions about services, please call 405-373-2311 for additional information.
