Mission & Vision
Mission: At Piedmont Public Schools, we create student-centric learning experiences inside and beyond the classroom.
Vision: Cultivate a student-centric learning community for all, focused on relationships, appreciation, communication, innovation, ownership, and reflection.
At Piedmont Public Schools, we know that you want your child to be equipped for the next step in their story. To do that, you need the best learning experiences for your child. The pressures our students face now are bigger and more difficult than ever before. Parents often wonder if the learning opportunities provided by a public education will be enough to succeed in our ever-changing world. We believe your student deserves learning opportunities that will inspire them to explore, learn, and grow every day. We want to guide your child to become the best version of themselves!
We understand as a parent, your child’s educational journey is your top priority. We pride ourselves on supporting your student and their individual needs, from providing emotional support, to ensuring that our teacher-to-student ratio remains low for more individualized attention. Inside the classroom, we ensure our teachers have the tools they need to be successful, creating happier teachers who are excited to come to work each day. Outside the classroom, we provide a wide array of extracurricular activities including sports, clubs, concurrent enrollment, career tech, internship opportunities, and more for our secondary students and “specials” like art, STEM class, physical education, and music for our Early Childhood and Elementary Wildcats.

We rank in the top public schools in the state for test scores, attendance rates, and graduation rates, and Piedmont students consistently score above the state average on the ACT.
We are excited to provide the best educational experiences for our students. Here are three ways we cultivate a student-centric community at Piedmont Schools:
- Teacher and Staff Support: We invest in our team, celebrate successes, and focus on building relationships.
- Innovative Classroom Strategies: We create opportunities for our students to learn, question, and build knowledge.
- Communication: We learn from each other, take ownership of our actions, and reflect on ways we can improve.
At PPS, we encourage you to become an active partner in your child's education. Research shows when parents or caregivers are engaged in a student's education, students receive higher grades and test scores, have better attendance, increased motivation, better self-esteem, and fewer behavioral issues. Looking for ways to get involved? Connect with us to talk about how you can help! You can also "like" us on social media to stay up-to-date on all things happening in our district.
We invite your student to be part of Piedmont Public Schools, where we create student-centric learning experiences inside and beyond the classroom.
