No. Your student is not required to attend Pre-K in the state of Oklahoma, but it is HIGHLY encouraged. 

No. Placement is a complex situation. Our administrators take many variables into account when determining placement for students.

Bus transportation is provided for students in PK and Kindergarten. Parents/guardians must register in advance and be at the stop each day to meet their child.  There is no mid-day transportation.

Pre-K students must be four years old on or before September 1st of the school year (September 1, 2025).

Yes. School supplies may be purchased and delivered to your student’s classroom by the first day of school or families may purchase supplies on their own.

Parents and guardians will begin receiving informational emails in mid-July when site administrators return from their summer vacations.

Documents REQUIRED for Enrollment at Piedmont Schools:

• Student Registration Form
• Student Guardianship Information
• Request for Records (if applicable)
• Home Language Survey
• Indian Education Form (if applicable)
• Internet Access Conduct Agreement
• State-Issued Birth Certificate
• Driver's License of Parent/Guardian
• Immunization Record
  • For school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:
    • 1. Current, up-to-date immunization records; or
    • 2. A completed certificate of exemption from the OSDH.
• Proof of Residence (TWO current utility bills AND Mortgage Statement or Rental/Lease Agreement)

We will contact you if/when a spot becomes available.

Parents unable to provide proof of residence because they are currently residing with a friend or relative on a temporary or permanent basis are required to complete a Residency Affidavit.

Residency Affidavits are available via email request at enrollment@piedmontschools.org or by picking one up at the Administration Office.

IMPORTANT: Both the parent/guardian and homeowner/lessee must be in attendance at the enrollment session timeslot.

Water, trash, electricity, gas, internet. We will not accept cell phone bills or other mail addresses that are not a utility bill.

Piedmont Schools Pre-K is free to attend.

You will receive an email either confirming your student is enrolled in Pre-K or has been placed on a waiting list on April 18th. This email will come to the emails listed in your enrollment paperwork.

Pre-K is first come, first served based on the time-stamp of your session registration and a completed packet.

Example: On March 6th, at 8:23, a parent registers for the fourth enrollment session. This makes the parent the 80th person to register. When they bring their completed packet and required documents to the enrollment session, their student will be placed after completed packets/documents 1-79, but before completed packets/documents 81 and on. Partial completion of forms and required documents WILL NOT secure your student's enrollment. 

Enrollment sessions will take place at Piedmont Early Childhood Center, Northwood Elementary, or Piedmont Elementary, depending on your home address and the associated enrollment boundary. Parents and guardians will attend an enrollment session at the school where their student will enroll. Sessions are designed to familiarize families with the administrators and staff and to provide an opportunity to become familiar with the school your student will attend. We are excited to welcome you to the Wildcat family!
