2026-27 Pre-K Enrollment

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to enroll in Pre-K.
Pre-K is offered at THREE school sites - Piedmont ECC, Northwood Elementary, and Piedmont Elementary.
Enrollment session selection opens on Monday, March 2nd, at 8 a.m. on our website.
- You must register for a time slot during session selection. This helps create a more streamlined enrollment process and allows time for our team to answer your questions.
Pre-K enrollment is in person.
Enrollment sessions will take place on March 24th and March 26th.
A parent/guardian must attend the enrollment session. Student attendance is not recommended.
Plan to be at your enrollment session for approximately one hour.

TIPS FROM OUR ENROLLMENT TEAM:

Be ready to select your session at 8 a.m. on March 2nd. Sessions fill up within minutes.
If you cannot see or select a session, try a different date or time. If you still cannot move forward, all sessions are full. You will need to complete the Missed Session form.
Only one parent/guardian should select a session. Submitting more than once takes spots from other families and does not improve your chances.
- If more than one submission is received for the same student, we will keep the submission with the earliest timestamp.
Do not participate in session selection if you are not a current resident with current documentation of residency within our district boundary lines. Transfer students will be considered after June 1st.
If you see a “Thank You” message after selecting your session, your submission has been received. Please do not call the Enrollment Office to confirm.

All Pre-K enrollment sessions are full.

Eligibility:

Pre-K students must be four years old on or before September 1st of the school year (September 1, 2026).
Students must reside within the Piedmont Schools attendance boundaries.

**Parents or guardians who are unable to provide proof of residence because they are currently residing with a relative or friend on a temporary or permanent basis will be required to complete a Residency Affidavit. Residency Affidavits are available via email request at enrollment@piedmontschools.org. An appointment may be required and both the parent/guardian and homeowner/lessee must be in attendance. As a reminder, 70 O.S. § 1210.191 requires the following:

The State Department of Education shall provide and ensure that each school district in this state provides, on the school district website and in any notice or publication provided to parents regarding immunization requests, the following information regarding immunization requirements for school attendance: For school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:

1. Current, up-to-date immunization records; or

2. A completed certificate of exemption from the OSDH.

PLEASE NOTE: (Okla. Admin. Code § 310:535-1-2, which states: A child, through his parent or guardian, may apply for an exemption from this requirement by submitting a form to the State Department of Health. The school shall maintain a copy of the approved application in the child's records. All exemptions submitted prior to a student entering 7th grade shall expire at the end of the student's 6th grade year. A new exemption is required to be completed and submitted by the parent or guardian prior to enrolling the child in 7th grade.)

Vaccines required to enter school (K-12)

Hepatitis B.
Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (DTap).*
Inactivated poliovirus (IPV).*
Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR).*
Varicella (chickenpox).*
Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap).**

*Students 4 through 6 years of age are required to have their final doses of DTaP, IPV, MMR, and Varicella prior to kindergarten entry.

**Students are required to have Tdap prior to entry into 7th grade.

What is a residency affidavit?

Parents unable to provide proof of residence because they are currently residing with a friend or relative on a temporary or permanent basis are required to complete a Residency Affidavit.

Residency Affidavits are available via email request at enrollment@piedmontschools.org or by picking one up at the Administration Office.

IMPORTANT: Both the parent/guardian and homeowner/lessee must be in attendance at the enrollment session timeslot.

Pre-K enrollment is IN PERSON only. A parent/guardian must bring the completed enrollment packet and all required documents to the enrollment session. You may only attend the session you signed up for. Early submission of documents will not be accepted.

Pre-K is first come, first served based on the time-stamp of your session registration and a completed packet. Pre-K Enrollment packets will be emailed to you within 24 business hours of when you select your enrollment session.

When is my student added to the Pre-K list?

Pre-K is first come, first served based on the time-stamp of your session registration and a completed packet.

Example: On March 2nd, at 8:23, a parent registers for the fourth enrollment session. This makes the parent the 80th person to register. When they bring their completed packet and required documents to the enrollment session, their student will be placed after completed packets/documents 1-79, but before completed packets/documents 81 and on. Partial completion of forms and required documents WILL NOT secure your student's enrollment.

Where will enrollment sessions take place?

Enrollment sessions will take place at Piedmont Early Childhood Center, Northwood Elementary, or Piedmont Elementary, depending on your home address and the associated enrollment boundary. Parents and guardians will attend an enrollment session at the school where their student will enroll. Sessions are designed to familiarize families with the administrators and staff and to provide an opportunity to become familiar with the school your student will attend.
