The Piedmont Alternative Learning Experience has been developed to provide support to students between the ages of 12 and 20 (7th – 12th grade) who have been unsuccessful in traditional school settings or who are at risk of dropping out of school and have a sincere desire to complete their high school education. The primary function of the program is to provide an alternative method for students to earn the necessary credits to receive a high school diploma.
