Students learn best in safe, positive, supportive school environments. Piedmont students are expected to be civil, polite and fully engaged in the learning process.
The Piedmont Alternative Learning Experience provides support to students between the ages of 12 and 20 (7th – 12th grade) who have encountered challenges in traditional educational settings or are at risk of dropping out and have a sincere desire to complete their high school education. The primary function of the program is to provide an alternative method for students to earn the necessary credits to receive a high school diploma.
