School Site Counselors

Before the 2020-21 school year, Piedmont Schools conducted a survey that revealed increased guardian concern regarding the mental health of students. Whether your student is in a physical or virtual learning environment, Piedmont Public Schools is committed to helping students feel safe, connected, and encouraged. Below you will find the contact information for each of our school site counselors and our district Behavioral Health Professional. These individuals are prepared and available to assist our students and families when needed. We understand that some situations require additional resources not available in a school setting. If outside resources are required, our team will work with students and families to find the help they need.

In addition to our counseling team, Piedmont Schools monitors student accounts for concerning searches. We also have teamed up with Stopit Solutions to provide the STOPit app. This app is available to students to anonymously report school safety issues. Students can reach out for help if they or a peer are facing a personal crisis or experiencing situations such as bullying, theft, mental health concerns, violence, sexual harassment, substance abuse, or any other student safety concern. This app is available to students 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
